Introduction:
Hiton HFPZ-series Round & Square Port Knife Gate Valve is a wafer type knife gate valve designed for the use of severe applications. It is generally suitable for
recycling applications, such as junk or sand traps of pulpers, high density cleaners (HDC) or as silo outlet with solid material. The
two-piece body comes with round inlet and square outlet (bigger than the inlet) eliminating jamming of media.
Features:
1. Body：
a) The two-piece body comes with round inlet and square outlet (bigger than the inlet) eliminating jamming of media.
b) Guide claws design at the port bottom for gate fixture, instead of a groove, eliminates any potential clogging when
valve shutoff.
2. Gate：
a) Gate thickness can be increased to handle higher pressure.
b) Gate surface is well polished at both sides for tight seal and less jamming.
c) Gate is hard chrome coated for metal sealing valve.
3. Seat：
a) Side-entry seat is replaceable, reducing the cost of maintenance.
b) Seat retainer covers the side of seat and prevents seat from direct flow flushing.
c) Preloaded seat is adjustable to meet different sealing class and compensate normal seat wear.
4. Other：
a) Double thrust bearing minimize the operating torque.
